Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how skillfaber LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“skillfaber,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the skillfaber platform (the “Service”) or visit our website. The Service is built for business use; we act primarily as a processor of the business content our customers submit.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, authentication data, and organization and team membership.
- Billing information. Subscription, invoice, and usage records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Customer content. Prompts, conversations, uploaded files, agent configurations, and data flowing through integrations you connect (for example your CRM or email). Credentials for connected integrations are stored encrypted.
- Usage and device data. Log data, feature usage, performance telemetry, and approximate browser/device information, collected to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We use cookies and similar storage primarily for authentication and session state.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service, including routing your content to the AI models and integrations you choose;
- To meter usage and bill subscriptions, and to send billing notifications such as usage-threshold emails;
- To provide support (including, where you request it, support engineers assisting inside your workspace);
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law;
- To improve the Service using aggregated or de-identified usage information.
We do not use your content to train AI models. AI inference runs on AWS infrastructure (including AWS Bedrock) inside the AWS security boundary. Under the AWS service terms applicable to Bedrock, prompts and outputs are not used to improve the underlying models. For most models, the model provider does not receive your content; certain frontier models require the provider’s trust-and-safety review, in which case prompts and outputs are shared with that model provider and retained for a limited period (currently up to 30 days) solely for trust-and-safety purposes — not for training.
3. How we share information
- Service providers. We use subprocessors to run the Service, principally Amazon Web Services (hosting and AI inference) and Stripe (payments).
- Integrations you connect. When you connect a third-party service, data flows to and from that service according to your configuration and the third party’s own terms.
- Within your organization. Content is visible to members of your teams according to the access controls your administrators configure.
- Legal. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of skillfaber, our customers, or others.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest using AWS KMS-managed keys, with content logically isolated per organization. The AWS infrastructure we run on carries certifications including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001; those certifications are AWS’s and cover the infrastructure layer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account and billing records while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Conversation data may be subject to configurable retention periods. When you delete your account or organization, or ask us to, we delete or de-identify associated content within a commercially reasonable time, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Organization administrators manage most content directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at support@skillfaber.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law. If your use of the Service involves personal data subject to the GDPR or similar regimes and you require a data processing agreement, contact us.
7. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will give notice (for example by email or in-app) before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
